CNMV Red-Flags 9 Unauthorised Investment Platforms
خلاصہ۔:Spain's CNMV warned against nine unregistered investment platforms on 20 July 2026, including a clone firm impersonating an authorised EEA investment company. None hold licences to operate in Spain.

Spain's National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) issued a formal warning on 20 July 2026 against nine investment platforms that are not registered to provide financial services in the country. None of the named entities hold a licence from the Spanish regulator, making it illegal for them to offer investment services or conduct other supervised financial activities in Spain.
The warning includes a clone firm that has been impersonating a legitimate, authorised investment company, a tactic regulators across Europe have flagged with growing frequency.
The Nine Flagged Entities
The CNMV published the following nine entities in its official warning, confirming that none appear in the Commission's register of authorised firms. The list includes evolutisgroup.co, INMEDIATO NYSTEX operating through inmediatonystex.es, BITCOIN TRADER ESPAÑA at bitcointraderai.com/es, ALTURA ALGO labelled as a clone at alturalgo.ai, BITSA also known as BITSA SAS at bitsacard.com, IQUANTUM FLUX at iquantumflux.com, MAXI WEALTH at maxi-wealth.org, ALGOBANK at algobanc.com, and XENO at xenoes.com.
The regulator stressed that inclusion on this list means each entity is prohibited from offering investment services or any other activity falling under CNMV supervision in Spain.
Clone Firm Impersonates an Authorised Company
Among the nine, one entry stands out: Altura Algo, operating through the domain alturalgo.ai, has been explicitly labelled a clone. The CNMV stated that this entity has no relationship with Indication Investments Ltd, a firm that is duly registered in Spain as an investment services company from the European Economic Area operating under the passporting regime, with registration number 3201.
Clone firms are a persistent problem in European markets. They typically mimic the name, branding, or website of a regulated company to deceive retail investors into believing they are dealing with a legitimate, authorised business. The CNMV's decision to name and disclaim the clone publicly is intended to sever that false association.
How Investors Can Protect Themselves
The CNMV reminded investors to always verify a firm's registration status before committing any funds. To help the public identify potentially fraudulent platforms, the regulator maintains an online database of warned entities that is freely accessible.
Members of the public who encounter suspected unauthorised investment offers can report them to the CNMV through the Commission's official enquiry form or its dedicated whistleblowing channel. Early reporting helps the regulator act faster and expand its warning lists, limiting the window in which unregistered operators can solicit funds from Spanish residents.
